![]() ![]() Origin of Symmetry is arguably their best album to date, I would go far as to say that it is near impossible to describe just how spectacular this album is. It's very much the sound track to the end of someone's world, and Muse delivers it with expert excellence and precision. Their first is very teenage angst sounding, but not what your typical teenage angst ridden album's sound like. They have 5 studio Albums out right now Showbiz (1999), Origin Of Symmetry (2001), Absolution (2003), Black Holes and Revelations (2006), and The Resistance (2009). All of these sounds work together excellently. ![]() They use the double bass excellently, contrast it with the banjo, accent both of these with drums and organ/keyboard, all of which work together as Marcus elegantly sings with a voice that’s a bit raspy and all masculine sounding. That’s the beauty of Mumford and Sons they exhaust every consideration of a broken heart and bring it back to life beautifully." () That’s exactly why I love Mumford and Sons, they pull your heart out with regret and love lost, but then makes you all the happier when they return it. As NME.com put it "we’re treated to hoe-down excellence dealing with love which appears to leave the calm of one’s soul split in two. They are a folk band who brings all of the positives of folk and none of the negatives. This British quartet consists of Marcus Mumford (lead vocals, guitar, drums), Winston Marshall (vocals, banjo, dobro), Ben Lovett (vocals, keyboards, organ), Ted Dwane (vocals, double bass), who all hail from jolly ole' London (you can probably tell I like British music (see other posts)). ![]() I was first introduced to Mumford and Sons about a year ago (in Oct 2008) and fell in love with their music. ![]()
